Subliminal Therapy — History
INFORMATION FOR PROFESSIONALS
History of the Subliminal Therapy Institute, Inc.
The Subliminal Therapy Institute was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) California Corporation in 2009 (Corporation Number 3252518), inspired by decades of success stories by patients who say their lives were changed by the use of Subliminal Therapy. The Institute is spreading the word that there is help available to people who have suffered for years, and may have spent countless hours in therapy without finding relief.
The Institute is committed to making Subliminal Therapy available worldwide. Therefore, training clinicians in the use of Subliminal Therapy is a priority. In addition to multiple occasions of trainings in the United States, Dr. Yager has thus far conducted trainings in Turkey, Greece, Canada, Hungary, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico, Iceland and Scotland, with trainings planned for Germany, Romania, Switzerland, and England, as well as trainings within the United States in 2014.
The Institute is also charged with conducting controlled research to determine the efficacy of the technique and to determine which disorders can benefit most from Subliminal Therapy, and to continually refine the technique. The Institute is spreading the word that there is help available to people who have suffered for years, and may have spent countless hours in therapy without finding relief.
Dr. Yager has conducted formal training in the technique within the curriculums of the UCSD School of Medicine, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, Ericksonian Society, the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, the European Society of Hypnosis, the International Society of Hypnosis, and the San Diego Psychological Association. During the past thirty years, the documentation of the success rates obtained from the practices of both Dr. Yager and other clinicians that were using this technique was mostly anecdotal. In 2008, Dr. Yager began collecting data on the success of Subliminal Therapy, in a formal manner, to either validate or invalidate his personal observations of the high rates of success. That data was collected from patients in his private practice who were treated with Subliminal Therapy and the data is presented in the research section of this website.

Support the Institute
The Subliminal Therapy Institute is dedicated to changing lives by helping people find relief from physical and mental suffering. Your help is needed to fund the work of the Institute.
The functions of the Institute are funded by three means: donations, fees from clinicians-in-training, and research grants. Promotions of the Subliminal Therapy Institute depend on all three of these sources; all are indispensable.
All monies received from donations go directly to support the three goals of the Institute: conducting controlled research into the effectiveness of Subliminal Therapy, training licensed clinicians in the application of Subliminal Therapy and informing the public about the effectiveness and availability of Subliminal Therapy.
The Institute is a Federally approved 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation; your donations are tax deductible. Receipts are provided for all donations and as a gesture of appreciation, donors giving $250 or more will receive a DVD recording of a treatment session in which Subliminal Therapy was employed.
Honor a Loved One:
A Memorial Donation gives you a thoughtful, caring way to honor a loved one while contributing to the mission of the Institute and helping others.
Once we process your information, and with your permission, the honoree of your choosing will receive a letter notifying them that you have made a gift in their name.
Make a Stock Gift:
You can avoid capital gains and give back at the same time. If you have owned them for more than a year, you can get an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of your contributed stocks or mutual funds, and tax on the capital gains can be avoided when you donate them to the Institute.
